In this employment case, a jury returned a verdict for plaintiff Donna Poplar against her employer, defendant Genesee County Road Commission, on two sets of claims: (1) retaliation for Poplar’s complaints of discrimination and (2) failure to accommodate Poplar’s vision disability. On appeal, the Commission challenges the district court’s denials of its motions for judgment as a matter of law and for a new trial. None of the Commission’s arguments warrant upending the jury verdict, so we affirm. I. A.
