Brian Cummings sued his former co-counsel (Afsoon Hagh), his former client (Bretton Keefer), and his former law firm (Cummings Manookian, PLLC), seeking a share of the attorney fees from a settlement he had worked on prior to withdrawing as counsel. Cummings and Hagh had practiced together at Cummings Manookian, which had since gone bankrupt and whose assets were in bankruptcy proceedings. The bankruptcy trustee (Jeanne Burton) intervened and removed the case to federal bankruptcy court. Hagh and Keefer moved to dismis…
